porschecommunity.co.uk has been designed by Porsche enthusiasts for Porsche enthusiasts. Version 1 of the system was launched in mid 2007 and we expect to upgrade it regularly based largely upon community feedback. Please let us know what you'd like on the website.

The Porsche community is defined as the 96,000 UK Porsche owners, the many aspiring owners and the multitude of vendors and suppliers servicing their needs.

porschecommunity.co.uk primarily acts as an avenue to the many 100's of websites that are of interest to Porsche community members. The Categories and Tags give a significant edge to the site when compared to generic search engines.

The site supports the principle of user driven content by encouraging the addition of new links by community members. Any new links will be quickly vetted for suitability by the website administrator before appearing on the site.

The site uses Tags to classify those websites linked to; these Tags are defined by the member setting up the link. When setting up a new link please use an existing Tag if at all possible.

The search facility looks for matches against the Link NAME, URL & COMMENT

The software has been developed by our associated software partners and is entirely configurable, allowing similar sites to be set up for other virtual communities very quickly. If you'd like to know more about the software or would like to licence a copy please contact us.
